Save streams you can already watch.
A browser extension that finds the HLS, DASH, and direct video a page is already playing and lets you download it. No watermarks, no DRM bypass, no uploads to a server.
What it does
- Detects HLS (
.m3u8), DASH (.mpd), and direct MP4/WebM on the page you are on. - Downloads them to your browser's normal download folder.
- Runs in Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.
- Never watermarks a file, even on the free version.
What it does not do
- No DRM. If a site encrypts its video with Widevine, FairPlay, or PlayReady, Stream Save leaves it alone.
- Browser HLS saves as
.ts. Clean MP4 needs the optional local helper. - DASH support is limited to simple
BaseURLmanifests for now. - In-browser downloads are capped near 2GB; the optional local helper handles larger files.
You are responsible for a site's terms and the copyright law where you live. Stream Save does not break DRM or access controls.
